Village-Building Action RPG ‘Warota’ Launches in Steam Early Access November 12

Team Earth Wars and publisher One or Eight have announced that village-building action RPG Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL will launch through Steam Early Access on November 12, 2026, for $24.99, with a 10% launch discount available through November 20. A Steam demo will be available soon. 

Warota has players become a Bounder, a being reincarnated by a Goddess with the power of creation. After arriving in Luna, players must rebuild settlements damaged by the Demon King and her monsters while recruiting residents to help restore the area.

Character roles are determined through more than 20 hats representing different Classes. These include Farmer, Woodcutter, Warrior, and Mage. Recruited villagers can also wear hats to assign them jobs around town. Villagers can accompany the player outside settlements and develop into stronger allies.

Exploration involves gathering resources such as wood, food, and ore. Players can use materials to build homes and develop the village, while cooking provides meals for residents.

Combat becomes particularly important at night. Platinum, an idol who serves as the neighboring Demon King, holds concerts that send nearby monsters into a frenzy. Players must defend their settlement against these attacks while searching for Goddess Statues that provide bonuses to attributes such as attack power, recovery speed, and elemental effects.

Bounders around the globe will soon dive into the comically mystical world of Luna in Steam Early Access. The feedback collected here will be used to help develop the full Version 1.0, which is currently scheduled for release in 2027. This will include a new story, as well as new lands to explore and new hats (job classes!) to wear!
